Plenty of painters can spread paint, and a few do it well and clean up after themselves. It is rare that technicians are trained and experienced in multiple ways to create special finishes. It is truly exceptional when a painting company combines technical capability, meticulous preparation and execution, and a true desire to partner with their clients to create the special look that they envision. Renaissance is such a company.

We have engaged many painters in 30 years and three houses, and without doubt Renaissance stands head and shoulders above the rest. We met Mark and team in our second home, a saltbox colonial, and they helped us achieve a traditional result, true to the period. When we designed our current home we envisioned a 500 year old manor lifted from a hillside of France. We engaged Renaissance in the design process... not just to design colors and finishes, but to coach us on the spaces and character of the house. We have patiently finished a room at a time, at our pace, with the Renaissance team always available for a design chat or suggestions on techniques that would have been employed by master craftsmen years ago.

Please allow me the opportunity to praise Renaissance for the interior painting project recently completed in our home. What began as a casual conversation about the possibility of making a real statement in our foyer, center hall and dining room, has become an extraordinary finished product that I marvel at and enjoy whenever I enter my home.

We were introduced to Renaissance over 20 years ago when doing a major renovation of our home. The project involved treating virtually all interior and exterior surfaces including the cedar shingle roof that was cleaned and treated with a special preservative.

Since then Renaissance has maintained our home by annually inspecting all painted surfaces (and the roof!) of our home and performing whatever work that is necessary to preserve the various surfaces - all to our satisfaction.

Their pride, craftsmanship and attention to detail are remarkable. When the crew leaves the job each day, the work areas inside and outside our home are left immaculate. They are always prompt and courteous, and when we need something done in a hurry, like repairing wallpaper that we recently ripped in an accident in the house, they came out immediately to repair these damaged areas, and they were done so well that we no longer can find them.
